‘Casino War’ for Beginners
Sunday, November 22nd, 2009Casino War is a game inspired from the childhood game of ‘war’ or ‘battle’. This is one of the most popular games in the casino and involves two or more players. The game is extremely easy and uses a standard deck of 52 cards which are evenly divided and placed face down. Each player is then required to show their top card and the player with a highest card takes the other cards and places them at the bottom of the whole deck. This would continue until there are no cards left with any player. There are more complicated versions and rules attached to the basic game.
While playing the casino war at the casinos, the dealer would deal a card face up to all the players and himself. If your card holds the highest value, then you would win, however if your card value is equal to that of the dealer’s, you can choose to go to the war. By choosing to war, you would have to match your original bet. If you do not want to war then you can choose to forfeit with the dealer and talk half of your original bet.
The casino edge is higher when a player surrenders and therefore a player should try and fight it to the next level. At a majority of the land based casinos, a tie after another tie would result in the bonus which is equal to the original bet.
There are different kinds of bet involved in the ‘casino war’ and thus ensure that you know the bets and the payout system thoroughly before plunging into the game. At the same time as Casino War may seem to be a game of pure luck, players with a good memory have always been successful with the card counting techniques. However, these techniques do not work in the online version of the game.
