The Fallacies in Roulette
There is no specific formula that can guarantee you a win at online roulette. However, there are a lot of scammers on the internet who would pretend to know about the winning secrets in Roulette and would happily share them with you. Well, would you share your secret if you knew how to win a roulette game online?
There are a few simple reasons that fail a majority of the gambling systems. Practically all the obvious looking gambling systems are based on the Monte Carlo fallacy or largely identified as the gamblers fallacy. This fallacy is simply the belief that the previous event leads to the result of the next event. By making use of some weird mathematics, the gamblers come up with the conclusion of betting on a red or the black on the roulette wheel. This is one of the popular ways where gamblers have been loosing a lot of money and casinos have been thriving since years.
For an instance, if black comes up 5 times a row on the spin of the roulette wheel then what would be the most likely colour in the next spin? Again, the gamblers fallacy which is built on coincidental situations and assumptions would conclude that red would come up the sixth time as well. It seems quite believable after five such spins but gambling wouldn’t be so easy if such fallacies were true. In reality there are equal chances of getting a black or a red when the wheel is being spun. Whatever has come up in the previous spin has nothing to do with whatever comes up the next spin. Therefore the odds are still 50% excluding the zeros on the board.
The much hyped system based on such a fallacy is recognised as “Martingale” and this has been existent since hundreds of years. In this system, all you need to do is keep placing the same bets over and over again until you win. But if you happen to lose then you need to double the stake in order to get the double win as well. This means that the Martingale can get pretty expensive and even if you happen to win, it involves a lot of risk for a potentially small profit.
If you want to enjoy playing against extremely true odds in a completely random online roulette game then try some of the online rooms. They happen to be more exciting than the original ones and the computer generated ones. Lastly, make sure that you do not use the same fallacies while playing roulette.
